KATHMANDU: The Deepal eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) has emerged as the star attraction at the NADA Auto Show 2025, which kicked off today at Bhrikuti Mandap.
Brought to Nepal by MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Changan, this marks the first time a flying car has ever been displayed in a Nepali automobile exhibition.
Positioned at Stall No. A1, the vehicle has drawn large crowds of visitors, including media, entrepreneurs and auto enthusiasts.
The car was transported from China through the Tatopani border. When a landslide in Sindhupalchok disrupted the Kodari Highway, porters carried it about 150 meters to ensure its arrival in Kathmandu.
