KATHMANDU: Yadea has launched its much-awaited electric scooter, Owin, in the Nepali market.
Kuzu Nepal, the official distributor of Yadea in Nepal, has started sales of the scooter priced at Rs 235,000. The company, however, is offering the Owin for Rs 210,000 for a limited period of time under a special Dashain offer.
According to the company, the Owin blends Italian-inspired retro-modern design with Yadea’s advanced technology. Built for smart city commuting, the scooter is powered by a 2,800-watt electric motor paired with a 2.16 kWh LFP battery. It offers a claimed range of 105 km on a full charge.

The Own comes loaded with modern features such as cruise control and reverse assist, which are designed to make riding easier and more comfortable.
The company is offering a three-year or 50,000 km warranty on the Owin.
