KATHMANDU: Electric scooter brand Yadea has introduced a new exchange and finance scheme in Nepal, offering its models at a monthly installment of Rs 3,999.
The scheme is being provided under the ‘Chaitra Mega Exchange Carnival’ organized by its authorized distributor Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd. As part of the offer, customers can exchange any brand of old scooter for a new Yadea electric scooter.
Under the campaign, buyers can receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000 on models such as the Yadea E8S Pro and Yadea Owin. The company has stated that terms and conditions apply.
In terms of pricing, the Yadea Owin is priced at Rs 235,000, while the E8S Pro is available for Rs 199,000. The exchange carnival is being held across Yadea showrooms nationwide from March 18 to March 25.
The company says the campaign aims to make electric mobility more affordable and accessible while encouraging the shift towards eco-friendly transportation.
The Yadea E8S Pro comes with a 3000W motor and a 72V 38Ah graphene battery, offering a claimed range of up to 150 km on a single charge. It has a top speed of 60 km/h and features 12-inch alloy wheels, hydraulic suspension, a 32-liter under-seat storage, and a digital display.
Similarly, the Yadea Owin features a retro-modern design inspired by Italian styling. It is powered by a 2800W motor and a 2.16 kWh LFP battery, delivering a claimed range of up to 105 km. Key features include cruise control and reverse assist. The model also comes with a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km.
