KATHMANDU: The next-generation Hyundai Venue has been spotted undisguised in South Korea, offering the first clear look at the compact SUV’s complete exterior and interior redesign.

The 2026 model marks the second generation of the Venue and is expected to make its global debut by late 2025 or early 2026.

The new Venue adopts Hyundai’s latest SUV design language with a bolder and more upright look. The front fascia features a wider, squarer grille with horizontal slats, vertically stacked LED headlamps and slim daytime running lights near the bonnet line.

A silver skid plate, black body cladding, and new alloy wheels give it a rugged look. At the back, the SUV features a redesigned tailgate, connected LED taillights and a sportier bumper.

Inside, Hyundai has upgraded technology and comfort. The cabin now has a dual curved display with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital cluster, like in Hyundai’s bigger models.

Other updates include a redesigned dashboard with under-screen air vents, new HVAC controls, improved materials and ambient lighting.

Higher trims are expected to come with ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and wireless smartphone connectivity.

Hyundai may also introduce Level-2 ADAS features, front parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers for the first time in this segment.

The all-new Venue is likely to make its India debut around November 2025, followed by a global release soon after.

With this generational upgrade, Hyundai aims to move the Venue into a more premium, tech-rich category while retaining its compact SUV appeal.
