Visitors have been showing interest in vehicles across different price segments. Participating companies say both affordable and premium cars and motorcycles are attracting buyers.

Many visitors were seen checking out vehicles and taking test rides. Battery capacity, motor performance, driving range and after-sales service were among the key areas of interest for EV buyers.

Participating brands have also reported a steady number of bookings. Companies are offering various promotional schemes to attract customers, including cash discounts, one-year insurance, one-year road tax, free servicing and low-interest financing.

A total of 52 new vehicle models were launched during the first two days of the expo. Forty-eight models were introduced on the opening day, followed by four more on Wednesday.

The second edition of the six-day NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo is being held with the aim of promoting sustainable, green and technology-driven mobility in Nepal. The expo will run until August 16.

Vehicles from domestic and multinational manufacturers and importers are on display at the event. New brands entering Nepal for the first time, along with new electric cars, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles, are among the major attractions.

Banks, financial institutions and insurance companies are also participating in the expo, offering special financing schemes and other benefits for vehicle buyers.
