KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has significantly increased the prices of petroleum products.
The corporation stated that the price hike was necessary due to rising crude oil prices in the international market and the growing outstanding payments owed to the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). Accordingly, the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene have been revised upwards.
Petrol prices have been increased by Rs 15 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices have gone up by Rs 10 per liter each. The revised rates will come into effect from midnight tonight.
