KATHMANDU: The sixth edition of the ‘MeroAuto Motor Rally 2026’ organized by Automotive Pvt. Ltd. has officially started on Friday.
The rally was flagged off from Charlie’s Cafe at Durbar Marg by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Vice President Prabal Jung Pandey, NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal Secretary Meghraj Poudel, and Mahindra Nepal Country Head Mahesh Thakur.
The rally started from Durbar Marg and will travel through Kalanki, Naubise, Galchhi, Muglin, Aanbukhaireni, and Damauli before concluding at Lakeside, Pokhara.
More than 40 cars and around 100 participants are taking part in the event. Participants include professionals and representatives from the automobile, lubricant, tire, spare parts, insurance, and media sectors.

During the rally, MeroAuto will also provide educational materials to Shree Ganeshman Singh Memorial Basic School located at Tarukaghat, Nuwakot, and rescue materials to the Tanahun District Police Office.
TotalEnergies is the main sponsor of the ‘MeroAuto Motor Rally 2026’. The rally is being organized in association with Mahindra through Agni Incorporated, while CEAT Tires is the performance partner.

MeroAuto has been organizing a motor rally every year on the occasion of its anniversary. The first edition was held on the Kathmandu-Sukute route in 2021, followed by Kathmandu-Mulkot, Kathmandu-Trishuli, Kathmandu-Sauraha, and Kathmandu-Sukute in the following editions.
