KATHMANDU: The all-new AVATR 07 electric SUV has arrived in Nepal. It has been brought in by MAW Vriddhi under the MAW Group. The company is preparing to start sales soon.

The launch comes at a time when the government has revised EV taxes through the new budget. However, the official price of the AVATR 07 in Nepal has not been announced yet. The company says pricing will be revealed shortly.

The AVATR 07 has already gained strong attention in China for its advanced technology and modern design. It received 11,673 bookings within the first 20 hours of launch. Compared to the earlier AVATR 11, the new model features a flatter roofline and improved cargo space.

Inside, the SUV gets a 15.6-inch central display and a uniquely designed steering wheel. It also features a massive 35.4-inch slim screen that extends towards rear passengers, offering a more immersive entertainment experience.

The cabin is designed for comfort and premium feel. It includes zero-gravity seats and a 25-speaker Meridian audio system, delivering a near-theater-like experience.

The AVATR 07 is built on an 800V architecture. In China, it is available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options. The variant for Nepal has not been confirmed.

The single-motor RWD version produces 252 kW of power. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

The SUV uses an 82.16 kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL. It supports fast charging, allowing 0 to 80 percent charge in around 20 minutes.

In terms of size, the AVATR 07 measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. The front design features signature dual-layer LED DRLs, while traditional side mirrors are replaced by cameras for a more futuristic look.
