KATHMANDU: Changan’s premium Deepal Nevo brand has officially entered the Nepali market with the Deepal Nevo Q05 electric SUV.
MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Changan vehicles in Nepal, has started sales of the SUV in two variants. The Q05 Max is priced at Rs 4.699 million, while the Q05 Ultra costs Rs 4.999 million.
These are special prices for the NADA Auto Show period. After the show, the Max will cost Rs 4.899 million, while the Ultra will be priced at Rs 5.199 million.
The Q05 combines a modern design, premium features and a spacious cabin. It is positioned as a compact electric SUV for urban and everyday use.

The Deepal Nevo Q05 follows Changan’s Digital Wing 2.0 design language.
It gets a full-width LED light strip at the front, matrix LED headlights and a closed grille. The side has flowing character lines and aerodynamic wheel arches. At the rear, it gets a connected LED tail light design.
The Q05 measures 4,435mm long, 1,855mm wide and 1,600mm tall. It has a 2,735mm wheelbase and 185mm ground clearance.
The Nepal-spec Q05 comes with a 51.9kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL. It offers a claimed range of up to 462km under the NEDC test cycle. The SUV supports up to 162kW DC fast charging. The battery can charge from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes under suitable conditions.
It is powered by a 120kW electric motor that produces 163hp and 190Nm of torque. The Q05 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 8.2 seconds.

Inside, the Q05 gets a 14.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster. It also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, a built-in dashcam, Bluetooth key and over-the-air updates.
The SUV also gets a 540-degree camera system and smartphone connectivity. The Q05 offers 540 liters of boot space, with additional storage under the floor.
For safety, the Q05 comes with six airbags, a 540-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. Its driver-assistance features include systems such as lane keeping, lane departure warning, forward collision warning and other safety functions.
MAW Vriddhi is offering a five-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty on the Deepal Nevo Q05.
