KATHMANDU: Ather Energy has introduced the 450X Overtones Series with new color options and faster charging capability in India. The new edition comes with a 900W charger that reduces charging time by around 30 percent.
The Ather 450X Overtones Series is available in three new colors: Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey. The alloy wheels feature a contrasting paint finish.
The pricing remains unchanged, while the new color options are available at an additional cost of INR 1,000 over the standard price.
The new 900W charger helps reduce charging time. The 3.5 kWh battery pack can now be charged from 0 to 100 percent in around 5 hours and 15 minutes.
The electric scooter also comes equipped with AtherStack 7, which includes features such as CrashAlert, ParkSafe, LockSafe, Infinite Cruise, and voice commands.
Customers can also opt for AtherStack Pro at an additional cost of INR 23,500. It adds features including Magic Twist, Google Maps, Tow and Theft Alerts, FallSafe, Park Assist, Auto Hold, Riding Modes, Auto Indicator Cut Off, Find My Scooter, Document Storage, and Find Nearby AtherGrid.
The 450X Overtones Series continues with the same battery options as the standard model. It is available with a 2.9 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 126 km and a 3.5 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 161 km.
