KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp has announced plans to expand its premium motorcycle lineup with new models in the 150-350cc segment during FY2026-27.
The upcoming motorcycles will be introduced under both the Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson brands, according to the company’s FY2026 annual report.
Hero MotoCorp said the 150-350cc segment continues to outperform the broader motorcycle market. The category recorded 18% year-on-year growth in FY2025-26, driven largely by GST rationalization in India.
The company noted that motorcycle makers are increasingly focusing on mid-capacity platforms by introducing feature-rich models and expanding their presence in the sub-350cc premium segment.
In contrast, Hero MotoCorp said demand for motorcycles above 350cc has grown at a slower pace, mainly due to higher taxation. The company expects its upcoming launches to strengthen its position in the fast-growing premium motorcycle market, according to ET.
