KATHMANDU : More than 1,200 two-wheelers have been booked at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Kathmandu.
According to figures provided by participating dealers, 1,233 motorcycles and scooters had been booked by 3 pm on Sunday.
Around 18 two-wheeler brands are participating in the expo. The segment has also seen several new model launches. Electric scooters and new motorcycles have attracted strong interest from visitors.
Ather recorded the highest bookings, with more than 400 electric scooters booked. Vaidya Energy has also introduced a new variant of the Ather Rizta at the expo. Ather currently offers the Rizta S and Rizta Z in Nepal.
ZX Moto/CX Motorcycles recorded more than 200 bookings. Bikers Nepal, the official distributor of CFMOTO and ZX Moto in Nepal, showcased the ZX Moto 820RR at the expo. The model is an 819cc three-cylinder motorcycle.
Yadea recorded 145 bookings. The distributor, Kuzu Nepal, said 45 of the booked scooters had already been delivered. Yadea had introduced the GT70, GT80 and GS70 models shortly before the expo.
Triumph recorded more than 100 bookings. Hansraj Hulaschand & Company launched the Triumph Speed T4 at the expo. The Speed T4 is Triumph’s entry-level roadster and uses a 349cc single-cylinder engine.
Other brands also recorded bookings. CFMOTO had 108 bookings, while KTM recorded 60. Suzuki had 50 bookings, Morbidelli 45 and TVS 25. Royal Enfield recorded 100 bookings.
The two-wheeler brands participating in the expo include Ather, Bajaj, CFMOTO, ZEEHO, Garrow, Honda, Keren, KTM, Morbidelli, NIU, Peugeot & BGAUSS, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, TVS, Ultraviolette, Yadea and ZX Moto/CX Motorcycles.
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is being held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from August 11 to 16. The expo features 55 brands across passenger vehicles, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
