KATHMANDU : Paramount Motors has introduced the Wuling Mini EV at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. Customers can now purchase the electric city car with a monthly EMI of around Rs. 17,000.
The Wuling Mini EV is available in Standard and Long Range variants. Under the NAIMA offer, the standard variant is priced at Rs. 1.999 million, while the Long Range variant costs Rs. 2.199 million.
Under the current financing provision for electric cars, customers can finance up to 60% of the vehicle’s value. This requires a 40% down payment.
For the Standard variant, buyers need to make a down payment of Rs. 799,600. The remaining Rs. 1.1994 million can be financed for seven years.
At an interest rate of 5.5%, the monthly EMI comes to around Rs. 17,237.
For the Long Range variant, the down payment stands at Rs. 879,600. The remaining Rs. 1.3194 million can be financed for seven years. The monthly EMI works out to around Rs. 19,000.

Wuling Mini EV: key specifications
The Wuling Mini EV is based on the fifth-generation Hongguang Mini EV. The four-door electric car measures 3,268 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width and 1,575 mm in height.
It comes with a 30 kW three-in-one electric motor. The car offers three driving modes: Standard, Eco and Sport.
The Standard variant gets a 16.2 kWh battery, while the Long Range version uses a 25.1 kWh battery. According to the company, they offer claimed ranges of up to 205 km and 301 km, respectively, on a full charge.
The Mini EV supports DC fast charging. The battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes, according to the company.
The electric car also gets mobile app connectivity and a range of safety features. These include dual airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold, traction control, hydraulic brake assist and auto hold.
Other features include an electric parking brake, dynamic brake function, high-definition reverse camera and rear parking sensors.
The Mini EV uses high-strength steel in its construction. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for urban use, especially on narrow streets and in tight parking spaces.
The car gets disc brakes on all four wheels and a three-level regenerative braking system. The regenerative braking modes are Comfort, Standard and Strong.
