Tata Sierra EV pre-bookings begin in Nepal, deliveries slated for festive season

KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has opened pre-bookings for the Sierra EV in Nepal.

Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has started taking bookings at the NADA Auto Show 2026. Customers can currently book the SUV by paying a token amount.

The company has not announced the official price yet. Deliveries are expected to begin during the festive season.

The Sierra EV is available internationally with 63 kWh and 75 kWh battery options. The batteries offer claimed ranges of up to 535 km and 665 km, respectively.

The SUV is available with rear-wheel drive and dual-motor QWD (Quad Wheel Drive) options. The RWD version produces up to 175 kW, while the QWD version gets a 225 kW setup and produces up to 504 Nm of torque.

Tata claims the Sierra EV can add up to 263 km of range with 15 minutes of DC fast charging.

The SUV features a full-width LED light bar, projector LED headlamps, flush door handles and a signature rear quarter glass. It also gets a roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna and independent rear suspension.

The Sierra EV is based on Tata’s Acti.EV+ architecture. The cabin gets a dual-tone design with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital display.

Other features include automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto, wireless charging and Tata’s iRA.EV connected car system.

Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.

The exact battery, drivetrain and variant specifications for Nepal are yet to be confirmed by Sipradi Trading.
