KATHMANDU: Tata delivered 150 units of its vehicles across Nepal in a single day on Thursday. Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., Tata Motors’ official distributor in Nepal, carried out the nationwide delivery to mark the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja.
Vishwakarma Puja has long been a popular occasion in Nepali society for buying new vehicles and having them blessed. Marking the day, Sipradi Trading delivered 150 Tata vehicles to customers through its 22 showrooms across the country.
According to Sipradi, the deliveries included the new Tiago EV, the new Punch EV, the Nexon EV Reloaded, and the Curvv EV, along with ICE models.
The company said most of the customers receiving deliveries on the day had booked their vehicles during the recent NAIMA Mobility Expo and the NADA Auto Show.
With growing customer interest in electric vehicles in Nepal, the delivery of Tata’s newer-generation EV models has added further excitement to the market. The company noted that customer interest has been especially strong for the new Tiago EV, the new Punch EV, the Nexon EV Reloaded and the Curvv EV.
The large-scale, single-day delivery of Tata vehicles across the country on the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Puja is also being seen as a sign of continued customer trust and interest in Tata Motors in the Nepali market.
