KATHMANDU: Competition among electric vehicle brands in Nepal is bringing a growing range of models to the market. One of the newer entrants is Arcfox, a brand under China’s state-owned BAIC Group.
The first Arcfox model introduced in Nepal is the T1, a premium compact utility vehicle (CUV). Laxmi MotorHub started its sales through the NAIMA Mobility Expo.
For buyers looking for an electric vehicle with attractive styling, premium finishing and advanced technology, the top-spec LV3 variant of the Arcfox T1 could be an interesting option.
With a monthly installment of slightly over Rs 32,000, the electric CUV offers several premium features. Here is a closer look at what makes the top variant competitive in its price segment.
Price
The Arcfox T1 LV3, the top variant, is priced at Rs 3.796 million. Its key highlights include an attractive exterior design, premium interior, modern safety technology and ground clearance suited to Nepali road conditions.
Features such as a 360-degree camera, underbody view camera, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats and 18-inch wheels make it competitive in its segment.

Premium interior and ventilated seats
The Arcfox T1 LV3 features leatherette seats, giving the cabin a premium look and feel. Ventilated front seats are another important feature. They help improve comfort during long drives, particularly in hot weather. This feature can be useful in Nepal’s climate and during extended driving in city traffic.
18-inch wheels and 181 mm ground clearance
The Arcfox T1 LV3 comes with 18-inch wheels. Besides enhancing its sporty appearance, the larger wheels give the vehicle a stronger road presence.
It also offers 181 mm of ground clearance. This is useful when driving over potholes, high speed breakers and uneven road surfaces commonly found in Nepal. 360-degree camera and underbody view
The 360-degree camera makes parking and maneuvering through narrow spaces easier. The SUV also gets an underbody view camera, which provides a view of the area beneath the vehicle. This technology can be particularly useful when driving through narrow roads and over uneven surfaces.

Level 2 ADAS
Another major highlight is the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The system provides driver assistance and alerts drivers to potential road hazards. It adds to the vehicle’s safety and technology package.
Monthly installment of around Rs 32,000
The Arcfox T1 LV3 is priced at Rs 3.796 million. The model was previously available at an offer price of Rs 3.596 million. Banks provide financing of up to 60 percent of the vehicle’s price. Buyers must make a 40 percent down payment of Rs 1,518,400.
The remaining Rs 2,277,600 can be financed through a bank loan at an assumed interest rate of 5 percent for 84 months. Based on these financing terms, the monthly installment comes to approximately Rs 32,191.
