KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. has increased the prices of BYD cars in Nepal. The revision applies to Atto 1, Atto 2, Atto 3, and Sealion 7 models.

The Atto 3 (Advanced variant) has received the highest price hike of Rs 300,000. Its new price is set at 5.999 million, up from 5.699 million.

The premium SUV Sealion 7 price has been increased by Rs 200,000. It now costs 7.999 million, compared to the previous 7.799 million.

For Atto 1, both Dynamic and Premium variants have received a uniform increase of Rs 75,000. The new prices stand at Rs 2.975 million for the Dynamic variant and Rs 3.375 million for the Premium variant.

The Atto 2 price has been increased by Rs 100,000. It now costs 4.599 million, up from 4.499 million.

This is the second price revision for Atto 2 and Sealion 7 within the past one and a half months. Earlier, prices were increased effectively from February 17, 2026.

The company has not disclosed the reason behind the price hike. However, it is likely due to the arrival of 2026 model units and the recent rise in the US dollar exchange rate, which has increased vehicle costs.
