KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading has launched a new ‘Switch to Tiago EV’ campaign in Nepal. Under this offer, customers can exchange any brand of old motorcycle or scooter for a new Tata Tiago EV.
The exchange camp will run from April 19-21. It will be available at authorized Tata showrooms across the country. Customers can directly trade in their two-wheelers and take home a Tiago EV.
Under the scheme, the car can be purchased with a minimum down payment of Rs 499,000. The company is also offering additional benefits. These include competitive valuation of old two-wheelers, cash discounts, free accessories, and one year road tax waiver.
Sipradi says customers will also get lifetime free DC fast charging through its network. Free home charger installation is also included. One lucky customer will win an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Tiago EV: key details
The Tiago EV is a compact hatchback. It measures 3,769 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width, and 1,526 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,400 mm.
It is powered by a 48 kW electric motor. The car uses a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery. Claimed range is up to 315 km on a full charge.
The Tiago EV supports DC fast charging. It can charge from 10% to 80% in around 57 minutes. The car can reach 60 km/h in 5.7 seconds. It comes with City and Sport drive modes, along with four levels of regenerative braking.
In terms of features, it gets Tata’s ZConnect system with over 45 connected features. It also includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 7-inch Harman infotainment system, and 8 speakers.
Other features include leatherette seats, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, electric ORVMs, cruise control, cooled glovebox, and push-button start/stop.
Tata offers an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the battery and motor.
