KATHMANDU : Chery has introduced the Q electric hatchback in Nepal. Pioneer Moto Corp, the authorized distributor of Chery in Nepal, unveiled the model at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Kathmandu.
The Chery Q is positioned in the premium hatchback segment with a crossover-inspired design. It is available in Comfort and Premium variants.
The Comfort variant is priced at Rs 3.449 million, while the Premium variant costs Rs 3.599 million. However, under the NAIMA Expo offer, they are available at Rs 3.099 million and Rs 3.299 million, respectively.
The Q is equipped with a 41.2 kWh battery pack. The company claims a driving range of up to 400 km on a full charge.
The EV supports up to 85 kW DC fast charging. According to the company, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in around 16 minutes.
The Q also gets vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to power external electrical devices using the vehicle’s battery.
The EV offers 175 mm of ground clearance and comes with a 540-degree surround-view camera. Other features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and more than 20 ADAS functions.
Built on an advanced electric vehicle platform, the Chery Q uses a rear-wheel-drive system. It also offers a spacious and practical cabin.
The Q provides 375 liters of boot space. This can be expanded to up to 1,450 liters by folding the rear seats.
The model combines modern technology, practicality and electric performance. Chery expects the Q to appeal to Nepali buyers looking for a premium yet affordable electric hatchback.
The Chery Q has also received international design recognition. It won the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and the iF Design Award 2026.
