KATHMANDU : Generation Next Motors, the automotive arm of Generation Next Communications Pvt. Ltd., has entered Nepal’s electric vehicle market with the launch of the V Auto Honri Boma EV, a compact electric hatchback from China’s Honri Automobile Group.
Generation Next Communications is best known in Nepal for distributing consumer electronics and technology brands, including Apple, HP, Dyson and Dell.
The Honri Boma EV will make its public debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which begins on August 11. The company has announced an introductory price of Rs 2,099,999 for the five-door electric hatchback.
Designed for urban mobility, the Honri Boma combines compact dimensions with modern styling and smart features. The company says it is aimed at buyers looking for an affordable and practical electric city car.
The EV is powered by a 35 kW electric motor paired with a 29.9 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed driving range of up to 300 km on a single charge. Charging from a standard household socket takes around seven hours.
The five-seat hatchback features a spacious cabin despite its compact size, making it suitable for daily commuting, family use and city driving. Its compact footprint is also expected to make parking and maneuvering easier on narrow urban roads.
Rakshit Bhimsaria, Director of Generation Next Motors, said the Honri Boma EV has been introduced to meet the growing demand for smart, safe, affordable and environmentally friendly mobility solutions in Nepal.
He added that the company is committed to providing reliable after-sales service, easy access to spare parts and dedicated technical support as it expands its presence in Nepal’s EV market.
Visitors to the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo will be able to explore the Honri Boma EV, learn about its features and register for a test drive.
