KATHMANDU: The Geely EX5 electric vehicle recorded 187 confirmed bookings during the NADA Auto Show 2025, according to LRR Motors.
Showcased in two variants – Max and Pro – the Geely EX5 drew significant attention at the six-day exhibition. LRR Motors stated that the vehicle’s design, range and advanced features contributed to the strong response from visitors.
The Geely EX5 series features an in-house manufactured battery by Geely Holding Group, which has passed eight needle tests and is claimed to be waterproof, fireproof and bulletproof.
With a lifespan of 3,500 charge cycles – equivalent to around 1 million km or 50 years – it is positioned as a first-of-its-kind system.
In Nepal, the model is being offered with an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty.
Deliveries of the booked units are scheduled to begin from Monday. LRR Motors noted that the positive response at the NADA Auto Show aligns with its strategy to promote eco-friendly mobility solutions in the Nepali market.
