KATHMANDU: Cherry’s iCaur brand has officially entered the Nepali market with the launch of the V23 lifestyle electric SUV.
SPG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of Cherry in Nepal, unveiled the model at an event today, announcing that the top variant will be priced under Rs 4.7 million.
The iCaur V23 is powered by a 100 kW rear-wheel-drive motor and is equipped with a 59.93 kWh LFP battery that delivers an estimated range of around 400 km.
The SUV measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm.
It also features a departure angle of 40 degrees and an approach angle of 42 degrees, emphasizing its off-road capability.
In terms of design, the V23 adopts a rugged square-box profile with a smoked front grille, round headlamps, roof luggage rack and hidden door handles.
Inside, the cabin includes a 15.4-inch central display with 2.5K resolution, square-shaped air vents, electrically adjustable front seats and a seven-speaker sound system.
The SUV is also equipped with ADAS, powered by the Horizon Robotics J-3 chip. Features include an 8-megapixel front camera, a 3-megapixel surround-view camera, five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, high-speed navigation, emergency lane-keeping, traffic jam assist, automatic parking, remote parking and memory parking functions.
With the launch of the V23, Cherry aims to capture the growing demand for electric SUVs in Nepal, positioning the model as a premium yet accessible option in the lifestyle EV segment.
