KATHMANDU: Aston Martin has teamed up with British motorcycle maker Brough Superior to introduce the AMB 002 Roadster, its first street-legal motorcycle.
The AMB 002 Roadster follows two earlier Aston Martin and Brough Superior motorcycles that were developed exclusively for track use. The new model combines a lightweight construction with extensive use of carbon fiber and titanium.
The motorcycle weighs just 190 kg and features a carbon-fiber body, fenders and fuel tank. It also gets Aston Martin-inspired design elements, including side strakes, a floating rear badge and V-shaped LED tail lights.
Power comes from a newly developed 1,083cc V-twin engine producing 130 hp and 110 Nm of torque. The engine has been tuned to deliver strong low- and mid-range torque while maintaining performance at higher engine speeds.
The AMB 002 Roadster uses a titanium frame milled from a solid billet. The frame weighs just 5 kg. It is paired with a double-wishbone Fior front suspension system designed to separate steering and braking forces for improved control.
Other features include a circular digital instrument cluster, push-button ignition and handcrafted leather seat pads. The motorcycle also gets a dual exhaust system with ribbed heat sinks inspired by Aston Martin’s performance models.
Brough Superior has started accepting orders for the AMB 002 Roadster. Production will be limited to 300 units, with first deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
