KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto India is preparing to launch two new motorcycle models in the 125-250cc segment during FY2027. The new models will complement the Pulsar range and target customers in India and international markets.

Bajaj Auto Joint Managing Director Rakesh Sharma said the new launches aim to regain market share in the 125cc and 150cc-plus segments, where sales have been affected by ageing models. The company will begin its product refresh with the 150cc-plus segment.

The company has recently introduced updated models, including the Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150, N160, NS400Z, N250 and NS200.

The new models are already contributing to sales. They accounted for 33 percent of Bajaj’s 125cc-plus portfolio during the early festive period, up from 7 percent in August.

Meanwhile, Bajaj’s overseas shipments increased 41 percent year-on-year to around 780,000 units in Q2 FY2027. Exports to Africa grew 83 percent, while shipments to Latin America increased 44 percent.
