KATHMANDU: Chinese automaker Geely has officially entered the Nepali market with the launch of its all-electric SUV, the Geely EX5, at the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2025.
The price of the EX5 starts from Rs 5.799 million, according to LRR Motors, the authorized distributor of Geely in Nepal.
According to the company, the version introduced in Nepal matches the specifications of the model currently sold in the Australian market.
LRR Motors is offering the EX5 in two variants — the Pro and the Max. The Pro variant is priced at Rs 5.799 million, while the Max variant is available for Rs 6.799 buyers. The company is offering substantial cash discounts and attractive gifts for customers who book the EX5 at the Auto Show.
According to the company, customers booking the Pro variant at the Auto Show will receive a cash discount of Rs 300,000, which will bring down the price to Rs 5.499 million. Similarly, buyers will also receive an iPhone 16 Pro Max and one tola of gold.
Similarly, the Max variant comes with a Rs 400,000 cash discount, bringing the offer price to Rs 6.499 billion. Buyers of the Max variant will also get an iPhone 16 Pro Max and one tola of gold.

Both variants of the EX5 are powered by a 160 kW motor that produces 215 horsepower, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. The SUV features a 60.2 kWh LFP short blade battery known for its high safety performance. LRR Motors is offering an eight-year or unlimited-kilometer warranty on the battery.
The Galaxy EX5 features a sleek and aerodynamic design with a sharp, muscular look. It is available in five attractive color options: Snow White, Frosty Grey, Moonlight Silver, Carbon Black and Turquoise Green.
Inside the cabin, the EX5 is equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, voice command functionality and a panoramic sunroof.
Both variants come with safety features like six airbags, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind spot monitoring and hill assist. The SUV also supports an integrated smart user interface and offers remote speed control through a mobile app.
