KATHMANDU: Hyundai has unveiled the next-generation Tucson with a larger body and a bold new design. The new SUV follows Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ design philosophy.
The new Tucson is 60 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 20 mm taller than the outgoing model. Its wheelbase has also increased by 30 mm.

The SUV gets a boxy design with squared-off wheel arches. At the front, it features a full-width LED light bar with vertical LED strips on both sides.
The rear gets vertical LED taillights connected by a full-width light bar. Chunky bumpers further add to its rugged look.

The interior also gets a major redesign. The new Tucson features a two-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster mounted on top of the dashboard. A large floating touchscreen sits in the center.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the technical specifications of the new Tucson. Details about its engine and powertrain options are expected to be announced closer to its launch.
