KATHMANDU: iCAUR has introduced the V27 in Nepal, marking the arrival of the country’s first extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). SPG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of iCAUR in Nepal, unveiled the rugged SUV at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The iCAUR V27 is an EREV-based SUV designed with a focus on off-road capability. It combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 34.3 kWh CATL LFP battery pack.
The SUV offers a claimed pure-electric range of 210 km. With a full tank of fuel, the company claims a total driving range of around 1,200 km.
The all-wheel-drive version produces up to 336 kW of power and 505 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
The rear-wheel-drive version produces 185 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque.
The V27 is also a large SUV. It measures 5,055 mm in length, 1,976 mm in width and 1,894 mm in height. It has a 2,910 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the SUV gets a large 15.4-inch 2.5K infotainment display. The system is powered by a Snapdragon 8295P chipset.
The V27 also features a 23-speaker audio system, leather interior, generous rear legroom and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety and driver assistance, the SUV uses Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6P chip and LiDAR-based Level 2 ADAS. It also gets seven airbags, ABS and EBD.
