KATHMANDU : The iCAUR V27, the flagship rugged SUV from Chery Group’s iCAUR brand, has arrived in Nepal. The model has been imported by SPG Automobiles, the brand’s authorized distributor in the country.
The company has already started road testing the SUV on public roads. It is expected to make its public debut at the NAIMA Mobility Expo, which begins on August 11.
The iCAUR V27 is an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). It combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 34.3 kWh CATL LFP battery pack. The SUV offers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 210 km and a combined driving range of around 1,200 km with a full fuel tank.
The V27 is available in China with both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. SPG Automobiles has not yet confirmed which variant will be offered in Nepal.

The AWD version produces 336 kW of combined power and 505 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The RWD model delivers 185 kW and 300 Nm of torque.
The SUV measures 5,055 mm in length, 1,976 mm in width, and 1,894 mm in height, with a 2,910 mm wheelbase, making it one of the largest SUVs in its segment.
Inside, the V27 features a 15.4-inch 2.5K infotainment display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip. Other highlights include a 23-speaker audio system, leather upholstery, generous rear legroom, and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety, the SUV is equipped with Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6P intelligent driving chip, LiDAR-based Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, ABS, EBD, and a range of advanced driver assistance features.
