KATHMANDU: Hyundai has started sales of the all-new venue in Nepal. The new-generation compact SUV was unveiled at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai in Nepal, has introduced the new venue in four variants. Prices start at Rs 4.896 million, while the top-spec Venue N Line is priced at Rs 6.796 million.
The new-generation Venue is assembled in Nepal by Laxmi Motor Corporation. It receives major design and feature upgrades compared to the outgoing model.
For the first time, Hyundai has introduced Level 2 ADAS in the venue. Depending on the variant, the SUV also gets a 360-degree camera, drive and traction modes, window sunshades, front parking sensors and reclining rear seats.
Other convenience features include an electronic parking brake and auto hold.
The top variant gets an eight-speaker Bose audio system. The dashboard features two large 12.3-inch screens. Hyundai has also increased the use of physical controls compared to the previous model.
The Venue continues with 16-inch wheels, but the wheel design is new. The front and rear styling has also been significantly revised. The new model features extensive use of LED lighting.
The engine lineup remains unchanged. The Venue is available with a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine.
The 1.2-liter petrol engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The turbo-petrol variant gets a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The diesel engine is available with both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions.
The cabin has also received several upgrades. Features include ventilated seats, a fully digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system.
The new Venue also gets front parking sensors for the first time on the higher variants.
