KATHMANDU: The fifth edition of Mero Auto Motor Rally is kicking off on Friday.
The two-day event will take participants on a joy ride from Kathmandu to Sunkoshi Beach Resort in Sukute, Sindhupalchowk. The rally is a blend of adventure with social responsibility.
According to the official schedule, the rally – a blend of adventure with social responsibility – will flag off from LISARA, Naxal, on Friday morning. The participants will reassemble at Sallaghari Service Lane before continuing their drive toward Sukute.
The second day of the event is devoted to a meaningful cause. As part of Mero Auto’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, participants will embark on a “Hike for a Cause” to Shree Kalika Adharbhut Bidyalaya at Ukhubari in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3. There, the participants will distribute school bags, stationery and sports items to students, supporting their education and well-being.
The event will conclude with a certificate distribution ceremony on the resort premises.
What began as a simple adventure ride, MeroAuto Motor Rally has evolved into a platform that promotes safe driving, tourism, and social good. It also showcases newly launched and upcoming vehicles through banners, displays and participation.
The rally brings together auto industry professionals and vehicle enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to connect, explore and contribute to a worthy cause.
