KATHMANDU: MG has unveiled the Windsor EV Pro variant, an upgraded version of its compact electric utility vehicle, featuring enhanced specifications and new features.
The Windsor Pro is powered by a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 449 km on a single charge. According to MG, the battery takes 9.5 hours to fully charge using a 7.4 kW charger and supports 60 kW fast charging which can fill the battery from 20% to 80% charge in just 50 minutes.
Although the 100 kW electric motor of the regular model has been retained, the Windsor Pro includes several upgrades such as distinctive 18-inch alloy wheels, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load (V2V/V2L) charging capabilities, powered tailgate, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The new variant is available in a range of colors, including Celadon Blue, Glaze Red and Aurora Silver. The Windsor EV Pro is priced at 1.749 Indian rupees.
Regular Model Coming to Nepal
Meanwhile, MG is set to launch the regular Windsor EV model in Nepal in the third week of May.
Paramount Motors, MG’s official distributor in Nepal, will introduce the vehicle with a 100 kW motor and a smaller 37 kWh battery. Pricing for the Nepali market has yet to be announced
