KATHMANDU: The Mugling-Nagdhunga road section will remain closed for six hours every night for three days.
According to a notice issued by the Chitwan District Administration Office, the road will be fully closed from March 31 to April 2. The closure will be in effect daily from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
During this period, all vehicles except those providing essential services will not be allowed to operate.
The restriction applies to sections including Ghoptebhir in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-4. The closure is aimed at speeding up road upgrade works.
Authorities stated that cliff cutting and other technical works are ongoing. The nighttime closure has been planned to ensure passenger safety and smooth construction progress.
