KATHMANDU: NIU showcased its full range of electric scooters and motorcycles at EICMA 2025, capturing major attention with the Concept 06, a futuristic electric maxi-scooter that highlights the company’s vision for its next generation of two-wheelers.

The NIU Concept 06 is powered by a 20 kW motor, allowing it to reach a top speed of 155 km/h, placing it in near-motorcycle performance. It features TKX.LAB suspension for a smooth and stable ride, along with dual disc brakes for reliable stopping power.

The scooter comes with advanced technology to enhance safety and convenience. A rear radar monitors nearby vehicles and provides ground alerts, while adaptive headlights adjust automatically to the environment. Ambient lighting under the chassis adds a modern touch.

Comfort features include an electronically adjustable handlebar and windscreen, a tray table for short breaks, and wireless charging. Riders also benefit from Adaptive Cruise Control, Hill-Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, and Push Assist for easier handling.

The Concept 06 also offers 360° camera coverage, a Sentry Mode that alerts the owner’s phone if the scooter is tampered with, and real-time tire pressure monitoring. Additional features include regenerative braking and a self-opening seat.
