KATHMANDU: BMW Motorrad has unveiled the new F 450 GS at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, held from November 4 to 9.
The new model marks the brand’s latest addition to its adventure lineup and will replace the G 310 GS as BMW’s entry-level ADV motorcycle.
The F 450 GS closely follows the design of the concept displayed at last year’s EICMA, adopting styling cues from the larger R 1300 GS. It features a sharp beak, an LED headlamp setup with quad-LED DRLs, and a muscular stance typical of BMW’s adventure range.
At its core, the motorcycle is powered by a 450cc twin-cylinder engine producing 47.5 BHP at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.

Built on a tubular steel frame with the engine as a stressed member, the bike weighs 175 kg and carries a 14-litre fuel tank.
Suspension duties are managed by a 43 mm KYB upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock, both offering 180 mm of travel. The Sport and GS Trophy variants provide adjustable rebound and compression settings.
Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc with a Brembo caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a ByBre caliper.
Feature highlights include a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity, heated grips, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Engine Drag Torque Control, and Dynamic Brake Control.

The range-topping GS Trophy variant adds BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch, Shift Assistant Pro, an aluminum engine guard, and a tinted rally-style screen. Optional equipment includes cross-spoke wheels and an Akrapovic exhaust system.
With the F 450 GS, BMW aims to strengthen its foothold in the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment while maintaining its reputation for performance and innovation.
