KATHMANDU: Omoda’s new electric SUV, the Omoda 04, is set to arrive in Nepal. The model will be unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo scheduled from August 11 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
SPG Automobiles, the official distributor of Omoda vehicles in Nepal, will introduce the new SUV at the expo. The Omoda 04 was first showcased as a concept model by Chery Group two years ago. It features a crossover-inspired design.
The Omoda 04 has gained attention for its sharp styling and sporty appearance. The SUV features a large air intake design, split LED headlights, and boomerang-style tail lights. Its design has also been compared with the Lamborghini Urus due to its aggressive styling.

The model was initially introduced as the Omoda C3 concept. It later entered the pre-production phase as the Omoda 4 before receiving the final production name, Omoda 04.
Built on Chery’s T1X platform, the Omoda 04 measures around 4.4 meters in length. The SUV will enter Nepal as a pure electric vehicle. The company has not revealed details about the battery and motor specifications.
Reports suggest that the Omoda 04 could be offered with two battery options, including a 61.1 kWh and a 77 kWh battery pack.
The electric SUV will come with a feature-rich cabin. It is expected to include a 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, 50W wireless charger, connected services, and a 16-function ADAS system.
