KATHMANDU: Renault is set to unveil the Renault Bridger Concept on March 10. The concept will preview a new sub-4-meter SUV for the Indian market.
The upcoming Bridger will be designed and developed in India. It is expected to be positioned alongside the Renault Kiger in the brand’s lineup.
According to Renault, the name ‘Bridger’ is derived from the word ‘bridge,’ symbolizing connection. The suffix ‘ER’ has been added for identification.

Teaser images suggest a rugged and boxy design. The styling appears inspired by the Land Rover Defender, featuring upright proportions. The concept also shows illuminated Renault lettering at the front and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
The production version is likely to use the same 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine currently offered in the Kiger. Transmission options may include a manual gearbox and a CVT.
More details are expected at the official reveal.
