KATHMANDU: Royal Enfield has launched the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 in Nepal. The motorcycle has been introduced by Alpha Automotive, the official distributor of Royal Enfield in Nepal. The company has fixed the price of the Guerrilla 450 at Rs 899,000.

Alpha Automotive had started booking for the new model last week. The motorcycle was first launched in India in 2024 and has now entered the Nepali market after two years.

The Guerrilla 450 is based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 platform. It uses the same Sherpa engine found in the Himalayan, but comes with a different roadster-style design.

The motorcycle is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected Sherpa engine. It produces 40 hp at 8000 rpm and 40 Nm torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Guerrilla 450 gets a circular LED headlamp and taillamp, aluminum handlebar, muscular fuel tank, upswept exhaust and single-piece seat.

The motorcycle also features a high-resolution Tripper TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Other features include ride modes, switchable ABS, slipper and assist clutch, LED lighting setup, dual disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.

It rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels with tubeless tires. Suspension setup includes conventional telescopic front forks and an offset monoshock rear suspension.

The Guerrilla 450 measures 2134 mm in length, 834 mm in width and 1115 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1491 mm.

Royal Enfield says the motorcycle weighs only 2 kg more than the entry-level Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which is one of its key highlights.
