KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has released the first teaser of the Punch facelift and confirmed that the updated model will be officially unveiled on January 13. The teaser highlights noticeable design updates, with the facelift expected to draw styling cues from the Punch EV.

At the front, the Punch facelift features a sharper fascia with a split headlamp setup. The LED headlamps and LED fog lamps are positioned in separate pods on the bumper, giving the sub-compact SUV a cleaner and more modern look.

The rear has also been revised. The updated Punch will get new LED taillights, now connected by a full-width LED light bar, aligning it with Tata’s latest design language.

Inside, the Punch facelift is expected to receive a two-tone cabin layout, along with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other expected features include Tata’s new 2-spoke steering wheel and a 360-degree camera system.

Mechanically, the Punch facelift is likely to continue with the existing powertrain options. These include a 1.2-liter petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Further details, including variant-wise features and pricing, are expected to be revealed at the time of the official unveiling.
