KATHMANDU: Yadea has started selling its new premium electric motorcycle in Nepal. Kuzu Nepal, the authorized distributor of Yadea in Nepal, has introduced the Yadea Keeness electric motorcycle in the market.
The company has priced the premium segment electric motorcycle at Rs 660,000.
According to the company, the Yadea Kiness has been developed with a focus on performance, acceleration, modern technology, and sporty design. The motorcycle is targeted for daily commuting as well as premium riding experiences.
The Yadea Keeness comes with an 11 kW mid-drive high-performance electric motor that produces 280 Nm of torque. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-50 km/h in 4 seconds and offers a top speed of 100 km/h.

It is equipped with a 4.6 kWh removable lithium battery pack with a battery management system featuring more than 40 safety protections. The motorcycle delivers a claimed range of up to 140 km on a full charge.
The battery can be removed and charged separately. The company claims that the battery system can operate in high and low temperatures and the motorcycle can climb slopes of up to 20 degrees, making it suitable for Nepal’s road conditions.
The Keeness has also received the Red Dot Design Award. It comes with features including waterproof protection, smart protection system, cruise control, smart digital display, full LED lighting, charging port, CBS braking system, alloy wheels, chain drive, front inverted forks, and shock absorbers.
Yadea is offering a warranty of two years or 20,000 km for customers purchasing the motorcycle.
