KATHMANDU: Skoda has unveiled the facelifted Kushaq for the Indian market, introducing fresh design updates, new features, and a new automatic transmission option.
On the outside, the updated Kushaq gets a redesigned grille with a segmented LED light bar. The LED headlights are slimmer and sharper, paired with new LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has also been revised, featuring a new skid plate.
At the rear, the SUV now comes with new LED tail lamps connected by a full-width LED light bar, along with illuminated Skoda lettering at the center.
The interior layout remains largely unchanged, but Skoda has added several new features. Highlights include a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google Gemini AI assistant, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and rear seats with a massage function.

Other features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 6-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, front parking sensors, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Under the hood, the Kushaq facelift continues with the familiar 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, now available with either a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. Higher variants are powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
On the safety front, the updated Kushaq comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror. Notably, the facelifted model now gets disc brakes on all four wheels for the first time.
