KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has unveiled its election manifesto targeting the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.
The manifesto was made public on Wednesday during a program held in Janakpur. Party President Gagan Thapa announced the commitments on behalf of the party.
The Congress has outlined 10 key visions in its manifesto. These cover areas such as health, education, employment, citizen rights, anti-corruption measures, good governance, public transportation, and infrastructure development.
In the document, the party has pledged to modernize and strengthen sectors including agriculture, tourism, energy, IT, sports, and transport. It has also committed to accelerating the development of essential infrastructure across the country.
However, the manifesto does not clearly specify detailed project plans or name specific infrastructure projects. While broad sectoral priorities have been mentioned, concrete implementation strategies remain undefined.
