KATHMANDU: Simple Energy has launched the Ultra electric scooter in India at an ex-showroom price of 234,999 Indian rupees.
The company claims the new scooter offers an IDC-certified range of 400 km on a single charge.
The Simple Ultra is powered by a 6.5 kWh battery pack. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.77 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 115 km/h. This makes it the second-fastest scooter in the company’s lineup.
The scooter comes equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets a traction control system with four selectable settings.
Simple Energy currently has around 70 sales and service touchpoints across major Indian cities.
