KATHMANDU: Tata Motors Nepal has extended the operating hours of its dedicated Tata Xpres-T service center in Balkumari.
The company announced that the service center will now remain open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Previously, it operated from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
According to the company, the extended schedule will allow taxi operators in the Kathmandu Valley to access servicing and maintenance more conveniently without affecting their work hours.
The move is expected to reduce vehicle downtime and improve after-sales support for Xpres-T owners.
Tata Motors Nepal said the same operating hours will soon be introduced at its dedicated service centers in Gongabu and Bhaktapur. This will further strengthen service accessibility for Tata Xpres-T users.
The Tata Xpres-T EV has been gaining popularity among taxi operators due to its low operating costs, practical driving range and dedicated support network.
The company currently operates dedicated fast-charging stations at 13 locations, including Patan, Ekantakuna, Sanepa, Jorpati, Banasthali, Guhyeshwari, Gongabu, Bhaktapur, Tikathali, Nepalgunj, Khadichaur, Chandragiri and Swayambhu.
Regular servicing and repair services are available through dedicated centers in Balkumari, Gongabu and Bhaktapur. Sales services are also provided through the company’s Bhaktapur showroom.
To support customers, the Tata Xpres-T comes with one year of Auto Plus insurance, free periodic maintenance for three years or up to 125,000 km, and a battery and motor warranty of five years or up to 160,000 km.
With the extended service hours, Tata Motors Nepal aims to provide faster, more convenient and reliable support for electric taxi operators across the country.
