KATHMANDU: The next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been spotted testing, with the first spy images of what appears to be the Pulsar Classic 125 surfacing online. The model is expected to launch this festive season in India.
The upcoming Pulsar 125 features a sporty design language with a familiar headlamp cowl, a muscular fuel tank with tank extensions, and a chin fairing. It also gets a split pillion grab rail and a rear tire hugger.
The test motorcycle is equipped with a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock suspension setup at the rear. It rides on alloy wheels similar to other 125cc models from the brand.
Braking duties are handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake setup.
The current Pulsar 125 is powered by a 124.38cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.64 BHP at 8,500 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
With the update, Bajaj Auto is expected to refresh its entry-level Pulsar lineup and strengthen its position in the 125cc commuter segment.
