KATHMANDU: Deepal has opened a new state-of-the-art showroom in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. The new facility has been launched by MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorized distributor of Deepal vehicles in Nepal.

The company has expanded its network to provide global-standard electric vehicles to Nepali customers. The new showroom will be operated by MAW’s authorized dealer, Apollo Motors.

The showroom inauguration featured advanced technology displays, including humanoid robots and robotic demonstrations. The exhibition highlighted Changan’s focus on artificial intelligence and automation.

MAW Vriddhi Chairman Bishnu Agrawal said the company is expanding its showroom and service network across different cities to meet the growing demand for Deepal EVs in Nepal.

“The Nepali EV market is at an exciting stage, and Deepal is leading this transformation,” Agrawal said. He added that MAW aims to establish Deepal as a long-term legacy brand in Nepal.

Apollo Motors Director Suyash Gyawali said the company is pleased to become the official dealer for Deepal in Kathmandu. He said the showroom is not only a sales point but also a destination for customers to experience Deepal’s EV models.

On the opening day, 20 Deepal EVs were delivered to customers. Deepal brand ambassador Paras Khadka, MAW Vriddhi Chairman Agrawal, and Nepal Republic Media founder Binod Raj Gyawali handed over vehicle keys to new customers.
