Nammi Vigo E2 gets Rs 500,000 price cut, now Rs 3.599 million

KATHMANDU: The Dongfeng Nammi Vigo is now available at a lower price in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi Motors, the authorized distributor of Dongfeng Nammi in Nepal, has started sales of the new Vigo E2 variant without a moonroof.

The company has priced the new Nammi Vigo E2 at Rs 3.599 million. This special price will be available during the NADA Auto Show. After the show, the price will increase to Rs 3.799 million, according to the company.

The new version is Rs 500,000 cheaper than the previously available Vigo E2, which was priced at Rs 4.099 million. The Vigo E2 Plus was priced at Rs 4.399 million.

The lower-priced Vigo E2 comes without the moonroof. Other major features remain largely unchanged, according to the company.

The Nammi Vigo is available with 44.94 kWh and 51.87 kWh battery options. The E2 with the smaller battery has a claimed WLTP range of around 300 km, while the E2 Plus with the larger battery offers around 350 km. Both variants use a 99 kW electric motor.

The Vigo supports up to 167 kW DC fast charging, with the higher-capacity battery version capable of charging from 30% to 80% in around 18 minutes under the stated specifications.

The compact electric SUV gets a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, voice controls and a 360-degree camera. It also offers wireless smartphone charging and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Vigo comes with features such as one-touch rear-seat folding and front seats that can be folded flat. Higher-spec versions also get a dual-section “Heaven and Earth” tailgate, music-linked ambient lighting and an external speaker.

Other features include a heated and ventilated driver’s seat, welcome and memory seat functions, 18-inch wheels on the higher variant, and automatic high- and low-beam headlights.

The SUV offers Eco, Standard and Sport driving modes. It also gets three steering modes: Calm, Normal and Comfort.

Safety features include six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, auto hold, hill hold, hill descent control and traction control.

The Nammi Vigo also has multiple storage spaces and a distinctive exterior featuring T-shaped LED headlights and triangular crystal-style tail lights.
