KATHMANDU: Premium electric scooter brand Ather Energy has expanded its presence in Nepal with a new Experience Centre in Janakpur.

The new showroom has been opened by Vaidya Energy at Mills Area, Janakpur.

According to the company, the new facility has been established to strengthen Ather’s nationwide network and support the growth of electric mobility in Nepal.

With the addition of the Janakpur outlet, Ather now has 10 Experience Centres across the country. Of these, five are located inside Kathmandu Valley, while the others are in Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari and Butwal.

The company also operates nine authorised service centres across Nepal to provide after-sales support. Ather offers an extended battery warranty of up to eight years, which the company says is the longest in Nepal’s two-wheeler EV segment.

Customers at the Janakpur Experience Centre can explore the Ather 450 series and the family-focused Ather Rizta. The showroom also provides finance, exchange and sales services.

To mark the opening, the company is offering special benefits until May 17. Customers can receive an extended battery warranty, zero percent interest financing and additional exchange valuation benefits.

The Ather 450 series is designed for buyers looking for strong performance and advanced technology. Key features include quick acceleration, Google Maps-based navigation, Auto Hold, Fall Safe, reverse mode, multiple riding modes and a touchscreen dashboard.

The Ather Rizta is aimed at family and daily use. It comes with a wide seat, large storage space, traction control, tow and theft alerts, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard and a comfort-oriented design.

Ather is also expanding its fast-charging infrastructure in Nepal. The company currently has more than 40 Ather Grid fast chargers installed across major cities and highways.
