KATHMANDU: Ather, Nepal’s leading electric scooter brand, has introduced a simplified ownership scheme that allows customers to buy an Ather scooter using only a valid ID card. No additional financial documents are required. Under the scheme, monthly EMI starts at Rs 6,058.

The new ID-based financing option is aimed at reducing purchase barriers and making electric scooter ownership easier for more customers across Nepal.

Ather has built a strong nationwide presence in Nepal with eight Ather Experience Centers located in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Pokhara, Itahari, and Butwal. The brand also operates one dedicated Test Ride Zone in Boudha, Kathmandu, along with eight authorized service centers.

To support daily use and long-distance travel, Ather has installed more than 27 Ather Grid fast-charging points across major cities and key highways.

Ather scooters are known for their smart touchscreen dashboard, fast charging, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and a smooth, refined riding experience. The brand continues to focus on technology, performance, and customer support.
