KATHMANDU: Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Ather Energy electric scooters in Nepal, has announced the nationwide launch of the Ather Rizta S, starting March 27, 2026.
The company has also opened bookings for the new electric scooter at an introductory amount of just Rs 999, which is fully refundable.
Ather is expanding its lineup with the Rizta S, targeting Nepali families seeking a practical and affordable electric mobility solution amid rising petrol prices.
Positioned as a comfort-focused family scooter, the Rizta S offers an IDC-claimed range of up to 123 km on a single charge. It supports fast charging, delivering up to 15 km of range in 10 minutes.
The scooter features a spacious 34-liter underseat storage, comfort-oriented ergonomics, and a top speed of 80 km/h.
Additional features such as reverse mode, AutoHold, and ParkAssist aim to make urban riding easier, especially in congested city traffic.
Ather is also offering extended battery warranty coverage of up to five years, enhancing long-term ownership confidence for EV buyers.
The Rizta S will be available through other Experience Centers across Nepal, with early customers eligible for introductory pricing benefits.
