KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the authorised distributor of Bajaj Auto for Nepal, has officially launched two new models—the Pulsar N125 and Pulsar N160—in the Nepali market.
The Pulsar N125 is priced at Rs 297,900, making it an attractive entry-level option for riders seeking a stylish yet affordable motorcycle. The Pulsar N160, on the other hand, comes with upgraded features and is priced at Rs 414,900.
The Pulsar series has long enjoyed popularity among Nepali riders. Bajaj has continued to refresh its lineup with new models and updates to make its products more appealing to consumers.
While the N160 is an updated model, the N125 is a brand-new addition to the Pulsar lineup in Nepal. Both models share a bold and aggressive design language characteristic of the Pulsar range.
The Pulsar N160 is equipped with several new features, including a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, USD (Upside Down) front forks, and ABS with three modes—Rain, Road and Offroad—that provide better control and comfort in varying riding conditions.
The Pulsar N125 is powered by a 124.59cc single-cylinder, air-cooled BS6 engine, delivering a maximum power of 12 PS at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed transmission.
It sports covered telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system features a front disc and rear drum setup. The bike uses 17-inch alloy wheels which offer a seat height of 795 mm, ground clearance of 198 mm and a kerb weight of 125 kg.
Design-wise, the N125 sports a muscular fuel tank, an aggressive headlamp setup, split seats, LED tail lights, Z-shaped LED DRLs and halogen turn indicators.
Additional convenience features include a USB charging port, upright handlebars for relaxed riding posture, a single-piece grab rail for pillion support, wide tires for better grip, and a large digital LCD display. The display provides essential information such as trip meter, speed, fuel level, RPM, time and Bluetooth alerts.
With these new offerings, Bajaj aims to appeal to young riders and urban commuters looking for a stylish, performance-oriented, and budget-friendly motorcycle equipped with modern features.
